Thirst

I went to one of my old posts and found this small, simple and chilling poem I wrote a while back. Its so mesmerising that how a poem changes its meaning with every read. Everytime I read a poem (written by me or someone else), it gives me totally different meaning and insight into it.

So, here is my #throwback – “Thirst”

I am no fire
ready to burn you with passion.
I am that bucket of ice
that gives you chills,
right from throat to spine,
fulilling your scrachiest thirst ever known.

Happy Thursday!
